Vertical-lift track
The door travels straight up the wall with no horizontal curve, ideal for buildings with very high ceilings such as pole barns and dedicated shops. Both high-lift and vertical-lift require specially calculated spring systems and drum sizing — this is not a bolt-on change.

A tall, wide door is heavy — often several times the weight of a standard single-car door. That drives every other hardware decision.
