The apples-to-oranges trap
Here is a scenario we untangle weekly. A homeowner in Moore sees a 16x7 insulated door on a home center shelf tag, gets an installed quote from a dealer that reads much higher, and concludes the dealer is padding the job. But the shelf tag covers a boxed door, period. Stack the rest of the project on top and the picture changes:

Run the columns and the "cheap" door usually lands right about where the dealer number already was, with more handoffs and less accountability along the way.
Questions that expose an incomplete price
- Does this include new springs and track, or reuse of my old ones?
- Who removes and disposes of the existing door?
- Is opener reconnection and limit adjustment included?
- What is the labor warranty, in writing, and who honors the product warranty if a panel arrives damaged?
That last one matters more than people expect. When a dealer sells and installs the door, warranty problems have one phone number. When a store sold it and a subcontractor hung it, panel damage becomes a debate about whose fault it was.
